Sometimes I create with beads, and sometimes my art is stitched. I love antique laces, especially French heirloom. Old buttons are among my favorites. My creations are a mixture of art and history. Both will always sit in my heart. I love the detail and quality of things made so long ago and I strive to bring that quality to my own pieces.

My grandmother tapped into my imagination when I was a small child. She always had a project and a story. Connecting my heart to my head was a great gift that she gave me. She taught me the life of early 1900. It made me realize how much people had to depend on themselves. I found strength from her stories. I learned to paint, to write, and to mix colors. The rest was up to me.

I'm always filling my head with techniques. I take it all in and allow my imagination to run with the knowledge. My designs are unique, they are my own. And I like to share my designs with those who want to create in the form of DIY kits. Many of the kits are complete with all the components necessary to assemble the project. Many are one of a kind because they contain old buttons and antique beads.

My studio, Victorianology, is located in Orlando, Florida and has been serving clients since 1997. I strive to create objects of desire that become family heirlooms.
