I was born and raised in Alabama. My railroad engineer husband gave me my nickname, and I still love to fry green tomatoes.
Get to Know
Creating soap since 2004 ~ I have been considered an artist since the ripe old age of 5. I pursued this interest in color, sparkle and texture through classes and competitions when young. Over the years I have widened my creativity to encompass all kinds of needlework, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, beading, jewelry, sketching, watercolor, acrylic and other mediums. Soap is my enduring passion for now, and beading is my newest spark(le) of love. I fondly watch for gift shops, finding many of them by accident; and taking the time to explore their wares. I picture a gift shop of long ago, stocked with treasures handmade by the local folk, eager to share a smile along life's roadsides. There were many more passenger trains then for the mode of transportation over long distances; unfortunately, many were not located at a major crossroad or depot, so most people didn't know they were there unless the conductor made a whistle stop. =================================================== I love to feel joy in unexpected finds. As you stop to smell the roses in your life, have your conductor make a WhystleStop: and take a few surprise finds for yourself to enjoy ~
