Wooden Love Affair started in our shed, with the idea of making something personal for each of our kids for Christmas. First were the hand made wood beads to put together into keychains. Then, boxes for each of our moms and kids. After that came a pair of earrings for each of the girls. Of course, there had to be matching necklaces!

People started to comment on how nice these items were, and suggested that we try to sell them. Thus, the beginning of our new found hobby.

We are a husband and wife team (Lou and Kathi), with lots of "you should do this or that" from our six kids...five girls and one boy. We also have 3 grandkids; one girl, two boys. Lou repairs furniture for a living, and Kathi is a school bus driver. We are in Upstate New York.

Each of our pieces are started from basic blocks or boards from a variety of woods, some being more exotic than others. Each is shaped and finished by hand. We have been able to share good quality time together making our creations, and now we want to share them with you.
