I also handpaint yarns and spin fibers. I quilt and handpaint my fabric. My work can be seen at the Berea Center for the Arts, Berea, KY in Somerset at The Yellow Umbrella and Carnegie Hall art studios. I also am associated with the ACA in Hindman, KY

I specialize in weaving, handpainting silk scarves, yarns, fabric and fibers, quilting, knitting, spinning. I am always experimenting with color.
Get to Know
As my Studio Intro says, I have a desire to combine the technics and the colors of the old and new in my art. I handpaint silk scarves, silk and cotton fabric and silk, cotton, wool fibers. I would love to do custom work for anyone that needs my services. My weaving is on a 1973 loom and a few others, 6 at the present. I make rugs, tapestry, scarves. Many of my technics are like the original but I put a California twist to them. I do many art shows and sell at many art galleries. I will be offering one-of-a kind handwoven rugs in cotton and wool. I will also be weaving beautiful ragbags, placemats, table runners. If you need something, please contact me.
