There's something amazing about that spark of a creative idea, that comfortable obsession. Also the energy of creation... and the way it increases by more than the sum of its parts when more than one creative mind comes together.
Inspiration comes in that melding of minds, and in bare feet on the ground, the whisper of trees, the stillness of meditation, and in allowing yourself to play and to fail and try again. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
I started making jewelry after taking a metalsmithing class in 2008, and after I gained some confidence I found that I was creative in other ways, too. It's been a journey of the spirit.
