aCageyBee is the online store (and mascot) for artist *kgb*, a Vancouver painter whose darling character portraits have a storybook feel loved by both children and grown-ups.



Born Kris G. Brownlee, she brings her imaginary friends to life in her paintings which have sold all over the USA, Canada and Australia. She's thrilled to have sent her sweet little pals to new homes all over the world, embarking on fresh adventures!



A lifelong learner, kgb is constantly trying out new techniques and exhausting the art section of her local library. She has trained formally at the Emily Carr University in Vancouver, the University of Alberta and Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton.



You can usually find her creating in her tiny studio nestled between the mountains and the water, with a black pug snoring at her feet.
