I am a native Clevelander (really wonderful city). I spent many years bouncing between bookkeeping and crafting and finally when my little ones were not so little any more, I finished my BFA at the Cleveland Institute of Art, majoring in Industrial Design with both Graphics and Metalworking minors. I used to design Decorative residential lighting, specializing in painted finishes and Tiffany style stained Glass lamps and fixtures. I have studied Art in Provence, France and Traveled to Asia and Mexico extensively while I was involved in my lighting career. Spending much time in Southern China. I love to leave a small environmental footprint, so I try to use repurposed and recycled materials. My Felt Flowers are made from recycled soda bottles, my Repurposed Fabric jewelry is made from fabric scraps left over from my daughter Poppy's wonderful clothing. She has an Artfire shop too. I also use recycled glass and repurposed Vintage jewelry parts. I now live in the Cleveland Area in a little cottage on a lake with my family, where I craft the Jewelry you find here and I do a little sewing too at my Poppy's Garden Gate Artfire shop.
