Beckinka is a small local business from Austin-Texas, that started from one simple idea, to bring the unique Peruvian culture here to the USA. After years of traveling around the world, Becky and Carlos (Inka) have developed their own style of jewelry, using techniques learned from artisans in Peru and South America.
Each piece of jewelry is handmade and one-of-the-kind. They have an international flavor that creates a fun and worldly look. The majority of the stones have been hand picked in Peru and brought here to bring Peruvian flavor to your doorstep.
All jewelry begins with just a stone and waxed polyester cord. The rest is macrame (tight knotting) art inspired by the stone. The cord is water resistant, washable and extremely durable. Apart from one piece, no glue is used. Look for healing properties of each stone to learn the unique attributes of each rock.
Custom order jewelry is welcomed with a week turn around time. Just inquire within!
