I am a former newspaper writer, columnist and editor who then went into graphic design and eventually found my way into the world of "live" theater. Somewhere along the way I began designing jewelry for myself - just another outlet for my creativity. And the madness began ... soon I found myself knee deep in more jewelry than I could ever personally use and with a room filled with beads and findings just waiting to be used. And still the ideas keep coming for new and more interesting jewelry designs. Thus ... betsyellendesigns was born.
