I've been crafting and selling my crafts most of my adult life. I taught my self to crochet in my early teens and by my late teens a was selling a line crocheted Barbie clothes that I designed at local flea market.
I started making jewelry after seeing a necklace of rubber balls and jacks in a clothing catalogue, I made jewelry out of small toys such as Barbie accessories and army men.
In my twenties bought myself a birthday present of stone beads and sterling findings. I've been working with stone beads ever since. I love everything about them. The coolness against the skin when working with them or wearing them. I love the infinite variety of markings on the agates and jaspers. And love that these beads come from the earth, underneath the dirt and with a little help from man were turned into some very beautiful.
