Get to Know
My fine art explores abstraction and realism through various mediums. Cats, horses, old architecture, and monarch butterflies are common subjects. I have been doing business as Evanson Art & Design since 2003. Currently, we share our house with 2 Maine Coon cats and a Siamese mix. During the summer we raise monarchs as a family project. You can follow our monarch journey through Facebook or Twitter. News and chatter are also posted there. My artwork is sold on several websites as well as at local shows. If you want to find out more about me, my artwork or monarch butterflies (educational photos and info), go to my main website: http://www.evansonart.com/.

Gardening is one of my hobbies. Lately I've been trying to add milkweed to the yard for the monarch butterflies we raise during the summer.
Gingerbread Nativity - edible! Created for my 2009 Christmas card. I love to bake and create freehand designs with gingerbread or sugar cookie dough. Work-in-progress photos are shown on evansonart.com on the Blog page.
ACEO Bunny & Violets - I've created and sold over 100 original ACEO paintings/drawings. This is one of my favorites.
Titan, who weighs in at 17 lbs, is one of our Maine Coons. My husband taught the cats to drink from the sink . . . I eventually bought a pet fountain for the cats and they stopped using the sink.
