Hi, I am Swati Nigam. I am a wife, a mum, and a jewelry designer. Long back I used to work in the corporate world. Had an MBA, and all of that :-). But I changed after my first one was born. It was very hard for me to leave her and go to work. I do admire women who can work outside their homes, and be mothers. But I just could not bear to leave my child and go. So I gave it up. Then came the second one, and thinking about working outside my home became even more difficult. Meanwhile I started making jewelry...I started with simple single line strung beads for bracelets, and found it really meditative. And later learned many more skills. I have studied silver-smithing at Evergreen Valley College, and taught myself most of wire working. A good friend started me off on PMC as well. Jewelry making was a hobby, but now it is my passion and vocation also. As humans we go through so many experiences, and often, they touch my heart deeply.
