Skills and Techniques
I'm good at fixing things. I have restrung my son-in-law's old baseball glove, figured out what piece was broken on an old clock, continually repair my son's glasses. I do not like to cook.
I am not afraid to experiment with materials, expecially glass, and mixing glass withmetalwork.

I worked for 13 years at an outdoor environmental center, and became passionate about recycling. After experimenting with found objects and melting scratched magnifying glasses and laundry scoops, I discovered glass, and began fusing commercial glass into jewelry. I am continuing to use my art and music background and training to combine not only commercial glass and sterling silver, but also to mount broken glass and ceramic shards in silver and scrap copper.
