Heather is a jewelry designer, artist and entrepreneur, who began making jewelry in 2008 and has been selling online to customers around the world since 2009. She an artist with the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and has participated in many local craft shows and events, including Art in the Park, RotaryFest, Art at the Grand, Art on the Bay, Echoes of the World Drum Festival, the Home & Outdoor Show, Passport to Unity Multicultural Fair and many more! Her work was featured in the Artisan's Showcase at Queen Street Beads throughout March of 2009 and in the March 2011 issue of ARTiculations. Heather works primarily with natural, semi-precious stone and Swarovski crystal but occasionally, she will also incorporate other materials, such as tektites, fossils, meteorites, seashells and fire-polished Czech glass in her pieces.
"Our slogan, 'Treasures from the Earth, Sea and Sky' reflects the diverse interaction between all the elements which comprise and shape the stone we use. I am always amazed by the diverse array of colors and textures made available to us by purely natural processes." Heather's scientific background only enhances her knowledge of the materials she uses.
Heather has always offered custom-sizing for her pieces and now, with customizable jewelry added to her repertoire, there's sure to be something for everyone. She also creates entire custom pieces and sets by request. She is most well-known for her Tree of Life pendants, which are handcrafted with natural semi-precious stone.
