I'm a self taught painter, wife and mother of 3 boys. I've been selling crafts, fulltime for the last 17 years, mostly at craft shows. You could find me and my family, most weekends at craft shows in the Mid-Atlantic. About 4 years ago, I took the plunge and started selling online on Ebay. Last year I started selling on Etsy and have just now taken the leap to try my hand at Artfire. I'm sure loving that some days I don't even have to get dressed to go to work...I can do work in my jammies! I'm in the process of building a website and hopefully that dream will come to fruition by the end of 2009. It has been a goal of mine for awhile. You can still find me at some craft shows on select weekends. I still love the meet and greet at the shows. The instant connection with the customer. The many loyal customers who come back year after year and purchase another one of my hand painted items really brings a big smile to my face. I hope that I can establish that same feeling, here on Artfire.
