Janine Gerade lives in Metrowest Massachusetts. She went to Art Institute of Boston for almost a year and a half. Later enrolled at Mount Ida College. Took a few years off to work the Graphic Design field with a few small agencies and then became a Large-Format Digital Technician at Charrette Pro Graphics (Now Service Point USA). Left that company due to the commute to Providence, RI. Re-enrolled in school and bought a flower shop from a friend in Needham, MA the day she got my Graphic Design Diploma. Got a hands-on education on how to run a business for the next 3 years. Sold her handmade jewelry in the flower shop. Closed the flower shop due to the economy and planned on starting a family. She has a baby girl and works part-time as a personal/administrative assistant, jewelry designer and hostess. She also runs her website which is doing well. She hopes someday to have her own jewelry studio with good light so she can also paint, draw and do whatever other arts she feel like doing that day. (and a spot for her little girl to dance around and paint too!)
