Hi! I'm Nancy Tillberg, the artist behind the creations that you see on these pages. Teddy Bear Making is one of the greatest joys in my life and I've been making bear for 16 years. Recently, I've also started creating dolls, as this seemed to be a natural creative progression for me. Most of my bear making is done in mohair, plush and genuine reclaimed fur garments. Custom orders from your old fur garments are welcome. I do not work with new pelts or endangered species. My bears and I have appeared on National television, and I have had the great pleasure of having two books published about bear making: 'Teddy Bears with a Past' and '101 Bears to Make. 'My dolls incorporate my photographic arts and also push towards being ecologically responsible.
