I was a computer programmer before I became a stay at home mom. I've always made jewelry, but when I discovered the art of chainmaille in 2007, it appealed to my analytical, problem solving mind. I never took a class or read a book on how to create chainmaille, I just figured it out, one weave at a time. I liken it to knitting, or weaving, with metal instead of fabric. The finished product can be a gorgeous dainty sterling and gold necklace, or a chunky, colorful, bracelet. The options are endless.
