A few years ago I was newly married and incredibly frustrated with my office job. I've never been good at sitting in a cube and being told what to do. After long discussions with my husband, I decided to give being a housewife a try. That lasted only a few weeks. I started looking for my reason for being, the meaning of my life. And one quote kept running through my head-"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kiss the ground.

The beauty I love is art. I love art in all forms and the form I\'m most enamored with is gorgeous, affordable wearable art. I\'ve always loved pretty, shiny things. I\'ve also always loved creating something from practically nothing. Over time I\'ve caught my husband in my jewelry making web and he now enjoys creating pieces out of copper and argentium. His passion is chain maille.
