Our business began in 2004 after the diagnosis of the owner's son with severe autism. In response to a dramatic lack of decent Autism Awareness jewellery in the market, Tammy Kliewer began to design and produce custom jewellery items in a quest to spread awareness and raise funds for Autism related causes. Originally called Tamantha Jewellery, that pursuit has grown over the years and today, we find ourselves with a growing retail store-front and popular on-line store.
Thousands of people in Canada and the United States own a piece of jewellery from our collection. We have even sent pieces as far abroad as the UK, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, New Zealand and Europe!
We have always raised money for charity and will always have this pursuit as a cornerstone of our business. There are always items in-store and online devoted to raising money for charity and we are regularly involved in trade events and fundraisers to further support important causes in our community. While we are a business and need to pay the bills, we believe that if we do good work and treat people right, people will support our goals and we will continue to grow.
