Just what do you do when you buy your first alpacas and shearing comes around? In my case, in 2007, it was learning to spin! As a graphic artist by trade, this opened the door to the world of fiber, a new medium to explore and play with. Before I knew it I was dyeing, carding, playing with fibers to look for something that would support the beauty of alpaca... and I opened my online store through Etsy to offer my goodies to the world. Little did I know then how popular my hand created spinning fibers would become, nor that my business would take off running as I introduced my 'Moonbeam' club and how much my support of the Phat Fiber box (http://www.PhatFiber.com) would shape the direction of my journey.
