I am a professional costumer for The Butte Opera House in Cripple Creek, Colorado. I costume anywhere from 4-6 shows a year. I love to sew and on any given day you can find me in my studio, happily sitting at my sewing machine.:)Check my Bio Gallery for pictures of some of my favorite costumes.

I started My Silly Blue Hippo out of a dissapointment of finding quality dress up clothes for my kids. The fabrics were too easily damaged, the seams were not finished, and my kids were frustrated by the fact that they could not dress themselves. Since I am already a costumer for the theatre, it was an easy transition to designing preschool clothes. I continually add new products so keep checking back or e-mail me if there is something specific that you need. Custom work is welcomed.Preschool is my favorite age. I love to see the little ones discover their imagination. Here at My Silly Blue Hippo we are dedicated to making dress up fun and engaging.
