BIO APPEARS BELOW: WARNING: It\\\'s boring! It sounds like everyone else\\\'s bio. I wish it were more exotic and exciting, but it\\\'s not! :(

I began beading about 9 years ago as a project to keep my 3 year old son\\\'s hands busy. He loves to build things, i.e., Legos, etc. and I thought beading would be a fun project for him. He made ornaments for all the female members of our family and they were a BIG hit.

I grew up with an artist father and a mum who just loves to garden, whether it\\\'s her actual garden or her \\\"virtual\\\" garden in her head, so colors and textures have always been swirling around me.

From those first ornaments, I started making stretchy bracelets. Then, I graduated to other ways of stringing beads. From there, I became interested in more intricate beading and have moved into the metals. I love hammering, torching, shaping metal into clever items. What I found is that I longed for more tools. Fun things to make the fabrication and design part more interesting. So, that\\\'s the direction pink-a-doodle has taken. Come back often as I am always doodling.
