I was trained in London as a fine artist (painting) many years ago.
Somehow I got into texile art after college and worked as a quiltmaker and fabric artist. I took up teaching to earn a `real living` and spent my free time developing my painting. I have since given up teaching to paint full time.
Sometimes I need a rest from painting and to refresh myself I make Sami style jewelry. My husband introduced me to this craft 10 nyears ago when I first came to Sweden, I was fascinated by the knotted wire pewter and having access to wonderful materials such as reindeer leather. I discovered that the suppliers produced leater in many rainbow colors and that is how my interest took off.

I love color and that is the key element to my work.
