She Hit Pause Studios was founded in 2002 by Brooklyn-based Polaroid artist, Matt Schwartz.
Schwartz has been photographing whimsical girls, surfing and travels for the past 7 years. His work has been described as "walking into a dream". The locations include Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Dominican Republic, Portugal, California, Seattle, Vermont, Virginia Beach, NJ and in his Brooklyn studio. All of his models are friends or people who have purchased his work. He has worked with Anthropologie, Levi's, Billabong, The Ace Hotel - New York, and has been featured in such publications as InStyle, W Magazine, NYLON and Refinery 29.
