Hello, My name is Valerie. I am a glass mosaic artist, I like to push my work to the limit, just before it becomes "overdone".

I draw inspiration from everywhere and everything. From a pillow pattern I saw on a couch in an episode of "30 Rock", to my fantasies of sitting at a Tiki bar on some tropical shore. I am always watching, and dreaming. I get excited with every new idea, and often stay awake, while I should be sleeping, thinking up new ones.

I have found my own perfect creative outlet with glass and glitter. I'm instinctively drawn to bright colors and anything that sparkles. There are some many colors, textures, and possibilities.

I have always had a love for the Arts. I love making jewelry, doing Mosaic and I also paint, draw, and love to garden. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Design in 2004 from the Phoenix Art Institute and also paint children's murals.

I spent most of my childhood in Salt Lake City, UT. and have resided in Phoenix AZ. for the past 20 Years. I am the mother of 14 year old twin girls . (The double trouble thing is completely true!)
