Hi! My name is Alexis Muller, known to friends and family as Lex. Way back in the 1970's, I studied art history at Moore College of Art, and painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. For the past few years, I've become absolutely obsessed & fascinated with beads and beadweaving. My designs are inspired by nature and an appreciation of the vastly diverse history of ancient and modern tribal cultures. My beadwork is done in a meditative fashion. As a colorist, I pay great attention to the subtleties of emotional and spiritual tones, so that each design may be able to sing to the heart a unique song. Textures are very important to me as well, not only visual textures, but the physical touch to the skin. I want each piece to kiss the wearer, and my work, at it best, is made to delight the flesh!
I love my wonderful customers, and enjoy doing custom work for folks who want specific lengths and sizes, as well as creating designs specific to my customers' needs.
"Can it be made in sterling silver or gold?" YES!
"Can it be shorter?" "Can it be longer?" "Can I get this design but in those colors?" " "Can you make a custom collar for my poodle?" YES! ^_^
"Oops! I lost an earring!" "Oh, no! The baby broke my necklace!" No problem! LOL!
That's me, wearing a fringe necklace...
Very happy Miyuki, wearing custom set made just for her!
Custom sets, customer happy!
Beadwork on buckskin bag, custom pieces are available. My Bill makes the bags & I bead them!
