Hi! My name is Laura Fischler, I consider myself a Fabric Artist and a professional recycler. I have been designing and sewing for a very long time. I live in Sunny, hot, SW Florida with my husband and two kids. The need for cool, comfortable clothing was the inspiration behind my skirts. As my friends often call me "mother nature", using reclaimed clothing and fabrics made sense to me! The bags naturally followed.Everything in my store is designed and completed by me. I love the feel of good fabric. The way it falls and drapes off the body. The way it feels on your skin, across your fingers. The way your hips can make it swing, when you walk across the room! It's how I read fabric. It makes all the difference in the world what your final piece will look like. Take a look around. I hope you like what you see and stop by often. When you get a chance, Check out my site at http://www.tropAcool.com, you never know what you might find there. All my designs, logos, and product names are protected under international copyright and trademark laws. Please respect them.

sold - to small for me but one of my favorites!
This is Johnnie, she is one of my most important business partners. I work her to death! Sometimes I give her the day off and she goes crazy!
I love making appliques - I choose designs I like in fabric and cut them out. They are sealed and then sewn on for durability.
