living the ordinary life in an un-ordinary way. kind of a mantra for me. i've done alright by it. and it by me.
followed the horizon till i hit water. made my home on a sailboat and traveled the world in air and on earth with musicians for awhile. only something else - something more? - called to me. so i left that life, and began another. only it was too similar to the one i'd just left, and the universe wasn't too pleased with that. so i got turned upside down for awhile.
the world turned right again when i landed on the island of kaua'i, healing from an electrical injury, my mother's death, a breakup and a broken back. (i toldja - upside down!!!) i sat, learning the island's rhythms, and then my own. and that led to a series of designs that attempted to express the revelations that had led me there. people seemed to get it. so i returned to the madland, and created the trueArt line.
great word - "line" - as it describes the designs as well as the continuation of each design into each other & all. home is "this side" of the pacific again - venice, california. still evolving & learning - some pretty amazing things these days! (aren't we all?!) trueArt still speaks for me. though, being a metaphor queen, i speak for myself pretty well too. maybe someday, i'll put those words into form too.
today - let's just imagine we're the energy we are - vibrating perfectly in our own tone, and adding our voices to the universal music that plays us. good vibrations, indeed!!!
