I've made art and practical items from used or discarded materials since childhood. I enjoy working with metals, papers, fabrics, wood, and glues and fasteners of all kinds.
I started upcycling old books into notepads and organizers when I discovered a warehouse with bins full of books. These books, unsold at the second-hand stores and often damaged, are destined to be recycled for paper. I decided to start rescuing the nicer covers.
