Get to Know
My name is rose and I am what I am in any given moment. Change is my most constant companion. I am called herbalist, artist, healer, priestess of the wild, but you can just call me rose. My relationships with art and nature have been part of me for as long as I can remember. I have studied art and herbalism formally, yet consider myself self-taught in both realms. From my perspective, experience is the only true teacher. I gave birth to Walk in the Woods during the 1990s - as a weekend business - when I was still fully engaged in the corporate world. Since that time this home-based business has grown and shifted, just like me. My time is shared among my clients and students, my passions and responsibilities, my friends and community. I live and love in "my little hut on my little acre" in the northwest hills of Connecticut, US, with my spouse - most often referred to as "The Boy" and my charmer of a dog, named Halley. You can learn more about me and all that I do at http://walkinthewoods.byregion.com

Gotta love a good hayride!
a wee sampling of my creations
a peek into my creative world
I love making my own herbals and equally love sharing my methods with others so that they may do the same. It is magically empowering!
