Get to Know
With a half century life lived, I've wandered down many paths that have led me in circles. My circling is always eased by creativity. I began sewing at age 12 on a treddle machine for which my mother paid 35 dollars. The hours spent at that machine were only a prelude to future hours I would spend quilting, stenciling, painting glass, writing, and now, candling. Yellow Wood Candles grew out of a need to clear my counters, shelves, tables, floors, and vanities of the candles I had made. All of my family, friends, and co-workers received candles for Christmas. A co-worker wanted to purchase two pillars, and, Yellow Wood Candles was born.
