There are two things that I love in this world more than anything--my family and my crocheting. I will be completely honest with you: The main goal of this shop and my Etsy shop is to make enough money from my crocheted items to financially support my family so I no longer need to work outside of the home. It may only be a far-fetched dream at this point, but I hope that someday it's a reality. Being able to work from home and care for my family and express myself artistically all at the same time would be a dream come true. In the meantime, I divide my time between a husband; our baby girl born in the summer of 2009; three completely crazy geriatric felines (don't worry, they're not allowed near the yarn!); a 40 hour a week office job; Etsy and Artfire; and hands that are only satisfied when they're manipulating yarn and a crochet hook. When I'm not crocheting, I'm typically thinking of crocheting, writing out new crochet patterns for myself, or asleep and dreaming of crocheting. It's the artistic release that keeps me sane in my very busy world. It also keeps my family very stylish! And at only 16 weeks old, my daughter started showing a complete fascination with yarn. The apple didn't fall far from this tree!
