In June my wife and I loaded up the 2003 Anniversary Edition Harley
Davidson Road King Classic and headed west to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The first day of the journey we had to work
for a few hours so we ended up getting on the road around 1:00 pm and had
planned to make it to Afton, Va spend the night and hit the Parkway the next

This past June my wife and I loaded up the 2011 Harley
Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic and set out on a nine day journey. Our
route was to go from the Eastern Shore of Maryland down the Blue Ridge Parkway
to Robbinsville, NC to ride the Tail of the Dragon.
We left on a Friday afternoon around lunchtime. About one

I will start my blog with a photograph I took just days ago. This is a very special photograph as you will find reading further.On Saturday 10/28/12 we began to prepare for Hurricane Sandy. The predicted path was to touch the Ocean City Maryland area but no one knew how bad. As we ran around buying batteries, water, milk, bread, eggs and toilet paper (have you ever wondered why that is the list...) I kept saying I have to get to the inlet to take some pictures.
