I made my lard base soap today! It's made with lard, olive and coconut oils plus shea butter and bit of Castor oil too... it's still in the mold and won't be cut until tomorrow morning but it's looking pretty good and smelling even better!I scented this batch with Lavender Vanilla oil and tossed a couple tablespoons of organic lavender buds into the batch before molding. In fact I may have been a bit heavy handed with the fragrance but I really like it so no big deal.I want to see how the lard soap stacks up against the all veggie stuff.  It's been a busy day... I've re-opened the re-invented ArtFire shop today and have 30 listings already up and ready to go to new homes! I got 2 new tote bags sewn up too... well, the 2nd still needs to be ironed and topstitched but that's just a minute or two from being done.I'm making soap tomorrow, sewing up at least one more new tote and there will be lots more buttons and jewelry going into the shop along with some photography and ACEOs.
