First things first: my shop is no longer in vacation mode! And the first new items added to it are a pair of Rainbow Gauntlets and a cotton-lined Winter Hat.Pics or it didn't happen, as they say:   I also finished a second dragon hat, this one with New and Improved tail:This is what the tail looks like flat: As you can see, this was done in a much thinner yarn (wool/acrylic blend) than the first dragon hat, which makes it a lot more drape-y.Dragon hats are custom order only (Pick your yarn type! This week's hat is a simple beanie in a modified seed stitch. After the dragon hat, it was nice to spend a few hours on a nice, simple pattern.And of course, where you have a nice, simple hat, you need some nice, simple hand warmers to go with it.  The hand warmers have ribbed cuffs and the same seed stitch pattern on the backs, but the palms are plain stockinette stitch to keep them from feeling bulky.
