Cluster necklace and quick side dishes!

Im working on an interesting cluster necklace in a combination of quartz, jade and turqoise sones. i just can't decide if i should buy ribbon and have a sash closure or crochet straps for it. you'll have to check back to find out.meantime, i just discovered something amazing.  Quick cooking rice . my daughter loves rice. you'd think she mixed it up with chocolate.  it is marvelous to be able to cook rice in 10 minutes and not have to wait half an hour or more. life's little wonders.... » Read More

Spring Fever And New Stones!

The dogwood tees in my neighborhood are starting to bloom and my head is filled with green and vibrant violents. i am working on a necklace of floral violet and lavender with pale green jade. can't wait to show you!meantime i am sorting through the new quartz and jade stones i bought yesterday on 5th ave. i got some lovely pale ovale jade, pillow shaped white jade, lots of gold sparkly quartz and an assortment of smaller quartz stones. my head is full of ideas. check out some of my stash.... » Read More

Hi all. welcome to the EECEE BLOG! *clappy clappy clappy*  so whats the latest! went to manhatten today to fifth ave to replenish my stone supply and i am awash in quartz. i was dismayed to find that my favorite glittery synthetic quartz stone has been discontinued so i bought 3 strands. also got some jade. can't wait to get crocheting. by fiddl;ing i came upon a new technique for creating a baroque or mideivil style necklace. keep a look out for it. its awesome. mwah!... » Read More
