Today is one of those days that I get to stay home and bead most of the day - so, for me, almost perfect!  I have been working on such a variety of things lately, from simple Anklets to larger beadwoven pieces.  I think that the variety keeps me going too!   Today I get to show off this wonderful necklace set that I made from my Grandmother's Stash.  Even as I look at this one I am amazed at how perfectly I was able to match everything.... very eclectic! Oh my goodness!!  If you follow me regularly you'll notice that there wasn't a Terrific Tuesday post yesterday. I had meant for there to be, but 'life gets in the way'!  I am not sure how everything got away from me, but it did!!  Oh well, that just means that I have more to tell you about today, and OH BOY, do I have a LOT to tell you about!! I am starting a little bit slow today, I have been so busy that even when I try to sleep my mind is still going like crazy!  I am sleeping, but still going through my lists and notes!!  Have you ever done this??   I was able to list a new creations, and this one is so fun and 'fallish'! So yesterday I think that I actually got caught up.  I THINK!! I know that I didn't get any help from our dog, Ziggy... Oh my, it has been a busy week.  I know, I know, it is only Wednesday, but for me the week and weekend sometimes blur!  This is one of those 'sometimes'!!  I still had a little time last night to bead... just enough to keep my sanity! Many of you saw the photo of my little Monster on my fan page last night, but for those of you who didn't, here is Monster and his black eye! YEP, my wonderful kids were playing outside and Aye was sitting on a concrete wall when she started to slip.....then when she swung her foot out to save herself (in cowboy boots - of course).... I know, I know, I have shown off my little Monster enough, but I just can't help but to show you a couple more!  Although yesterday was his birthday his party will not be until Saturday.  We allowed him to open ONE of his presents - from Mom and Dad - so that his day was special. OK, I am just about at the limit of crazy this month! Yesterday just about topped off my week so far!  I was sitting in quiet and piece when I got a call from Aye that Monster had gotten hurt.  I rushed down to the park (about a block away) and find him with a lump on his head and dirt covering his face!  Yep, he tried to jump OVER a bench and didn't make it!So as he missed, hit the back and then flipped over onto the ground.  A quick trip to Solantic walk-in urgent care centers (who are starting to recognize us) and we found out that he has a moderate concussion!  OMG!   So then it was back home we went!   (hard to see, ... » Read More

What a wonderful morning it is.  For some reason (we wont explore it to much - it might jinx it) I woke up with a new lease on life!  I am not sure if someone 'spiked' my morning bottle of water, or what happened, but I am here, I am happy and life just feels REALLY good today!  Maybe it is because I actually got to bead yesterday!  For several days I have been just TOO busy to bead and that always ways on me.
