Colorful Butterflies


I had previously bought a string of big colorful Howlite butterflies at a local beads store. I am simply attracted to their colors and spider webs look.  Howlite is a type of natural semi precious stone that is white in color. It is a super calming stone and many people use it to relieve stress and relieve insomnia due to an over active mind. Playing with Patina


Last week, I bought a set of opaque inks specially formulated by Ranger which will adhere to metal. They come in a set of three colours which are verdigris, moss and jade. I found some antique brass filigree butterfly charms and started exploring with the paint. I blended in the three colours, starting with moss, jade then verdigris. And I love the blending effects!
