Mr MagsRags and I got married in 1980, so our fashion choices would be vintage now even if we had bought them brand new off the rack. But my affinity for vintage goes way back, as you can see from this photo of me with my bridesmaids. My dress was from the late 1930s to early 1940s - champagne lace with a matching acetate underslip. You can't see my feet, but my shoes were 1940s peeptoe platforms in cream suede - they were New Old Stock when I got them and they're in my closet to this day.
