Wisteria Wedding

This was originally published in 2011 and recovered from the posts that Artfire unpublished for some reason:My daughter got married recently so, of course, I made the jewelry for the wedding.  Her colors were wisteria (kind of lavender) and green.  The wisteria wasn't the shade I thought it would be, but it turned out to be very pretty against the green of the gardens.   The bride wanted lots of sparkle so I got some Swarovski briolette drops and marguerite crystals to go with the crystals and freshwater pearls that I already had.   I added a two inch extender and a handmade hook clasp made from sterling wire.  Here is a picture of t... » Read More

I did have some blog entries here, and they mysteriously disappeared!  I am going to use this blog mostly for items of interest to my customers.  I do have another blog, which will be more of interest to artists and other jewelry designers -- you can find by clicking on the little orange B on the bottom right where it says "Find me online".This Saturday, December 10th, I am planning on participating in the "Holly Trolley Shopping" event in Downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.  It sounds like an old fashioned kind of Christmas event.  It's a chance to shop local and handmade, although I'm sure it's not all local and handmade, but you have the choice. ... » Read More
