St. Louise de Marillac - Feast Day March 15


Today is the feast day of St. Louise de Marillac.  She is the co-Foundress of the Daughters of Charity, with St. Vincent de Paul.  Although she felt the Call at around the age 15, she was refused admission to a cloistered order.  She was devastated until told by her spiritual director that God had other plans for her.Eventually, following God's plan, she married and had one child.  A devoted mother and wife, she cared for her bed-ridden husband until he died in 1625. Prepping for 2012


So, we all happily prepping the shop for 2012!  I'm busy crafting my Patron Saint  and the Keep Calm and Pray Your Rosary Glass Tile Pendants right now!  Rosary crafting is a very special experience for me.  There is no way I want to get stuck churning them out factory like, just to keep the shop filled, so the rosaries left at the end of the year will get a new polish, some new pretty pictures and they will be re-priced and re-listed in 2012. Currently, I'm projecting a Grand Re-Opening event for February 1, 2012; however, I might get a little trigger happy and go early.  Stay tuned!
