The color blue is a favorite among a large number of people.  I'll bet that if a study was done about a person's favorite color, a large majority of the population would pick some shade of blue as their favorite color. Dog Toy Debacle

So the other day,  I decided to make a water bottle dog toy for my puppy, Finn.  I'd seen these toys in stores, made from fake fur and other material.  Then, one day I saw one that someone had crocheted for her dog. I wish I could remember where I saw it.  I'd give her credit for the idea.  She said her dog had been playing with for quite some time and still hadn't destroyed it.  So I figured I'd give it a try. New Endeavor-OOak Art Dolls

I've always loved to sew and paint so I decided to try a new endeavor.  I had a customer who loves quilting and when she saw the project I was working on she offered to buy it when it was completed.  I've made dolls before but they were usually made for my daughter or niece when they were small and not very critical of my work.  Here is my first attempt at making an Art Doll and, if I do say so myself, she came out pretty good.This is Sadie the Quilter who now sits on a shelf in my customer's quilting room.                                                         ... » Read More

How does everyone find the time to be involved in all the social media sites?  It seems every site has suddenly become obsessed with provided social context to their sites.  I find it hard to keep up with all the sites that have been recommended to me.  What with Twitter, Face Book, Pinterest, Flickr, Stumbleupon and all the others, I don't seem to have time for anything else.
