Soda Can Cozy Free Crochet Pattern

This is a free pattern for making a soda can cozy. I designed this pattern, and would like to share it with you......It's a very simple pattern. And the soda can cozies make a wonderful summer time gift! They are great for absorbing condensation. Keep your hands from getting wet as you drink your soda while you work. Today I am showing off my 14 yeard old daughter's work. This girl is amazing!! She can do just about anything she wants to.   She loves drawing, especially animals. She drew this picture of an eagle catching a fish with an autumn mountain sunrise in the back ground. She colored it with colored pencils:   She has gotten into cross stiching recently, and wanted to try doing a cross stitch from on of her drawings.   So, she used a tracing light table, and traced her picture onto cross stitch fabric. What to do with all those cereal and food boxes?? Well, here is one idea I came up with. I am in the Cardmakers of Artfire Guild. Each month our guild leader gives us a challenge. This month, December 2011, the challenge is "Somthing Old, Something New". We are free to apply that theme however we want in the making of our cards.   I saw this stack of boxes in the kitched waiting to be recycled, and got "inspired"...Hey....something old!! My two oldest daughter's came to me the other saying they wanted to do Christmas shoe boxes through Samaritan's Purse:http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/The children are getting together and doing a box for a girl age 10-14 and a box for a boy age 4-9. We picked up some toys, hygene supplies and school supplies.Our oldest daughter (14) wanted to make some of the items herself.
