I'm very pleased to have added the first items to the new section of my Artfire Studio called, "Witch Whats". Browse by to see my handmade Shamanic and Wicca ritual tools. The first new product is a hand crafted Native American or Frontier style gourd rattle with a hand carved horse head handle, Shaman Journey Ceremonial Gourd Rattle. It's a unique percussion tool & Native American or Frontier style home decor too. The top is a wood-burned gourd and the handle is a hand carved horse head with mane. Filled with symbols for personal magic and meditation use, here Journey represents the journey through life as an individual grows & the journey the shaman takes into the other worlds. This rattle could also be used as a magic wand to direct energy during spell work or ritual. The rattle head has images of a running herd of horses burned in a primitive cave drawing style with spirals, hand prints, clouds, lightning bolts, the sun & the sacred directions.
The second new product I've added is a Raven Head Magic Wand, hand crafted from a special ash wood. It's a magic wand in the form of the head and wings of raven for use in Wicca rituals, Pagan ceremony, and/or Shamanic rites. The style was inspired by the early Native American Adena and Hopewell mound builder cultures of North America. I was born near The Great Serpent Mound effigy in Ohio, and so have admired the art of these early people. No power tools were used to make this wand; all of the work was done by hand using knives, files, and stones to cut and shape the wood. The wood was harvested at the peak of a Full Moon and the wand was finished during a later New Moon, with a sleek black surface.
Again, I'd love for you to stop by my new section for handmade Shamanic and Wicca ritual tools! Brightest of blessings to you!
