Hello everybody!  So glad to have this blog up and running.

I'm popping in today to remind you of some holiday shipping deadlines, in case you are eying something in my shop and wonder if you can get it in time for Christmas.

If you are ordering vintage, I should be able to ship your package the same day, or the following morning.  If you are ordering something I have to make for you, please allow 2-3 days for me to create it before I ship it.  I pride myself in fast shipping, because I really, really want you to be pleased.  I'd rather I lost sleep over your package than you!

Last Days to Ship

International customers:
  • Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Great Britain:  December 9.
Additional rates I can use, if you contact me first:
  • Canada, Great Britain: International Priority, December 12
  • Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain: International Express, Dec. 15
  • Canada: International Express, December 16

US customers:
  • First Class Mail: December 20
  • Parcel Post Mail: December 15
Additional Rates I can use, if you contact me first:
  • Priority Mail: December 21
  • Express Mail: December 22
Please note that I don't normally use domestic or international priority or express mail on packages because they are considerably more expensive rates (sometimes up to five times the cost of the item itself).

If you order too late on these cutoff dates, and have not contacted me to upgrade your shipping rate, it could cause your package to get to you after Christmas.  Even if I rush it to the post office!  This also doesn't account for strange unexpected delays in transit due to weather in your area, customs slowdowns, or other catastrophes.  We don't want that, so I'm telling you ahead of time!

The best bet is to get your orders to me early.  I am taking several boxes to the post office every day.  Make yours one of them!

Until next time, happy shopping, and happy holidays everyone! :)
