10 Glitter Hang Tags for Gifts, Wedding Shower Games, Handmade

Hang tags have been traditionally used for attaching to gifts but they can also be used at bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, or other gatherings where games will enhance the fun.

Here are some games that immediately come to my mind. I have played them and they really enliven the occasion.

Words of Advice Game:  Write a brief phrase or nugget of advice on the back of the tag on how to have a happy marriage. Each tag is then given as a gift for the bride-to-be to keep.

Draw the Baby Game:  Give each guest a tag and ask them to draw the baby on the back of the tag and sign their name underneath. Then hang the tags and have guests vote for their favorite (excluding their own tag). The guest with the most votes wins a prize. The mom-to-be keeps the tags for her baby book or for her baby collection.

Off Limits Game: Pick one word and announce that it is not allowed to be said. Each guest is given a tag to begin with. Each guest can steal a tag from someone else if they catch them saying the forbidden word. At the end of the party, the guest with the most tags wins a prize.

In conclusion, hang tags can not only be used as gift tags. They can be used for wedding or other shower games and also scrapbook page decorations, table decorations, home decor, for gift baskets, party favors, etc. The entire set can be given as a gift itself. The uses are endless and the tag strings can be easily removed when using the tags for purposes other than hanging.

Hang tags are indeed very versatile!
