I really haven't been making jewelry for very long ( a few years now), and I probably never would have started if it hadn't been for my cousins.  I always make all the Christmas presents I give to family and friends.  This has forced me to stretch my creative boundaries a bit in order to create items that each person will like.  My cousins all wear very pretty earrings, so one year I figured I'd try my hand at making earrings for them.  Mind you, I knew NOTHING about making jewelry, but a lack of knowledge never stopped me in the past!  I had a few basic supplies somebody had given me, so I just created several unique polymer clay shapes in colors I thought each woman would like.  I really didn't have anything specific in mind when I started, but somehow each woman got the perfect pair of earrings, which they adored.  One cousin insisted I make earrings to sell, so I started playing around with beads, clay, and findings, learning as I went.  My jewelry has improved over the years, and I now have many pieces I'm proud to sell.  Not only do I make earrings, but I make pins and necklaces as well.  All of the jewelry in my shop is one of a kind (as is most everything else), and I can't really say that I have a definitive style.  I'm pretty much all over the map, and you never know what I'll create next!  Mostly because half the time I don't know what I'll create until I'm about halfway through- LOL!  Of course there are times when I have a specific idea in mind, and generally end up with a finished product that matches the idea.  I do enjoy unleashing my imagination and letting it run free though.  Some of my best pieces were created that way.  Below is a small sample of the earrings, necklaces, and pins available in my shop.  You can click on the picture to go directly to the picture, or just browse my entire Jewelry and Magnets category.  Thanks for looking, and enjoy browsing!
