Beaded Jewelry. Hundreds of artists from around the world submitted work for
the book, and we tried to capture the diversity in aesthetic and technique
that the bead world holds. I¹m a little biased, I suppose, but allow me to
say that the finished book is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring.
I'm pleased to report that Hard Wired, 2011 was juried into the book.

I'm very happy and quite excited by this!Honestly I thought I was a long shot for this book because I found out about it fairly close to the deadline so didn't have much time to create and get things photographed and edited in time to submit. Of the things I did submit, the piece that was selected was one that I wasn't sure would go over well.
The moral of the story here is that it really never hurts to try! You won't always succeed but you never will if you don't ever put yourself out there.
So, look for places to show off your work! Get your friends to help you find places. Both publications where I have my jewelry displayed ('1000 Steampunk Creations' - released July 2011 and now 'Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry - to be released August 2012) were for calls for submissions forwarded to me by a friend. I have great friends!
