Inspiration to Create

When I'm creating in the studio, I like to have music playing to get me in the mood. Sometimes I want simple new age relaxing music which helps my mind wander in all directions without the music competing.
Sometimes I want more upbeat music to jump start my brain, especially if I'm mass producing a design or doing lots of coloring.
But this time of year, to get into the holiday spirit, I've got the Christmas music playing. Whether it's from cd's or the wonderful Sirius satellite music which has already started playing classic Christmas songs, I've been inspired to get into the holiday crafting groove.
One of my newest cards is this fun Christmas card using, what I call, my loopy tree.
The image and sentiment are hand stamped and create a fun and modern holiday feel.
The color combo is fun with a spin on the traditional green with a new emerging green, known as wasabi.
It's been fun discovering all my favorite Christmas songs again. My hope is that they will lead me to many wonderful new creations!
